So did we, which is why we started Wama Village, a living space where freedom — inner and outer — is nurtured.

Rooted in the ancient lands of Malvaste, Hiiumaa, we are creating a space where the divine feminine meets the divine masculine, where silence and ceremony meet joy and play. Where you can be yourself, and where the environment is perfect for deep inner work.

Come for a day, a weekend, organize an event or join one that we have already planned.

Meet The Wama Village

Wama Village is more than a retreat center. It is a living artefact, a village of contributors. It is a place for:

Wama Village is being created on the grounds of the historic Malvaste schoolhouse — once a place of learning, now reborn as a place of inner learning.

Here, seekers, mystics, and navigators gather to explore freedom, courage, and joy.

Our vision is simple: to create a space that is welcoming to freedom seekers, where everyone can contribute, grow, and feel at home.

We honor the Nordic & Viking roots of this land while inviting in new stories, new ceremonies, and new connections.

What You Can Do Now

Below you can find the things you should know about the retreat, before you arrive to our sacred grove.

Becoming A Villager

Wama Village is a place that welcomes travelers and seekers, but we are also building a long-term community of villagers - people who want to go deeper.

• Come with another guest with a car + boat (About 3.5 hours). Praamid.ee.

• Fly with Nyxair (30 mintues. 34 EUR one-way)

• Get a bus (4.5 hours. About 15 EUR) using LuxExpress or GoBus. Choose "Kärdla" as destination.

Solo Retreats

We offer solo retreats, where you will not be disturbed by others, allowing you to focus on yourself and your inner work.

When you come, we will provide you with everything necessary to have

• Solo-Retreat Intent Setting Ritual

• A database of exercises that you can do

• Writing materials

• Living quarters

• Food

Although we suggest following the rule of "noble silence", you will also have a chance to ask for guidance, meditate, take walks, and much more.

What is the purpose of the retreat?

To get up close and personal with joy, to remember what it is like to be a child, and to Rise collectively.

What will be the cost of the retreat?

This is a co-created, invite-only gathering — not a commercial event.

To make it happen, we ask everyone to contribute €100 in advance. This helps cover shared essentials: food, extra toilets, beautiful spaces, cozy touches, and other prep.

If there's money left over, we’ll use it to make the experience even better.

If we end up needing more, we might ask for a little extra, or invite you to give what feels right from the heart.

At the end, if you feel deeply nourished and want to give back to the Malvaste Retreat Centre, you’ll have a chance to do that too — totally optional.

Is there an agenda?

The agenda will be fluid, except a few collective events. You can definitely expect workshops, tea journeys, sauna rituals, dance, song, and much more. You are also very welcome to co-create together with us.

How can I get invited or get in touch?

The only way to get invited is to reach out to Margit or Dmitri. You can do so on Telegram/WhatsApp. If you don't have the contacts, ask the person who gave you the link.
